Do I need to use a Master Electrician?

You are not legally required to use a Master Electricians member, but there are clear advantages to doing so. All prescribed electrical work in New Zealand must be completed by a registered electrician — however, choosing a Master Electricians member gives you additional protection through the $20,000 workmanship guarantee and the assurance of ongoing training and oversight that membership requires.

Are all BW Henderson electricians EWRB registered?

Yes. All electricians working on our jobs are registered with the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB), as required by New Zealand law. You can verify any electrician’s registration directly on the EWRB website. We also issue a Certificate of Compliance (CoC) on all prescribed electrical work as a legal record that the work meets the required standard.

What areas do you cover as a master electrician in Auckland?

How do I make a claim under the workmanship guarantee?

If you have a concern about work we have completed, contact us first to discuss it. If the matter is not resolved, you can submit a formal claim to Master Electricians New Zealand.
