A home security system is only as good as the wiring behind it. Undersized cabling to a control panel, sensors sharing a circuit with half the house, or a backup battery that has quietly been flat for two years will all pass a sales demo and fail on the night it matters.
We install and wire alarm systems across South Auckland and Franklin — sensors, control panels, sirens, keypads and the cabling that connects them, on a supply that is separated properly from the rest of the house.
Home Alarm Systems
An alarm is a set of sensors, a panel and a siren, and the detail that matters is coverage: which doors and windows are monitored, where the motion detectors sit, and whether the panel is somewhere an intruder reaches before the siren sounds.
On rural Franklin properties the shape of the problem changes. There is often a shed, a workshop or a implement store to cover as well as the house, the distances are long, and a mains failure is a real event rather than a theoretical one — so backup power and cable runs need thinking about rather than assuming.
We also fit sensor-controlled outdoor lighting, which does more to deter someone approaching a property at 2am than most alarms do.
