Our standard rates apply across residential, commercial, and industrial jobs. Whether you need a power point installed at home, a switchboard upgraded at your office, or emergency fault finding at a factory, the same transparent pricing structure applies. As a result, there are no different rate cards depending on what type of work you need — just a clear, consistent hourly rate.
What Your Call-Out Fee Covers
Your first-hour minimum charge of $150 + GST includes your electrical safety certificate, travel time, and call-out fee. This means there are no additional line items for these costs — they are all covered in the one charge. After the first hour, our standard 15-minute rate of $30 + GST applies for labour and travel. Therefore, you always know exactly what you are paying for.

BW Henderson charges a first-hour minimum of $150 + GST for standard jobs, which includes your electrical safety certificate, travel, and call-out fee. After the first hour, labour and travel is charged at $30 + GST per 15 minutes. A vehicle charge of $30 also applies. Material costs are confirmed separately before work begins.

Yes — materials and mileage are charged extra on every job. The vehicle charge is $30 per job. Material costs are confirmed after work begins and are additional to the labour rate.
